On Tuesday, October 2nd Libbey Elementary hosted an informational Family Literacy Night. Dr. Marisela Rodriguez from the American Reading Company visited with parents about the new literacy initiative, and then parents had the opportunity to view materials that their students are using in the classroom. The students enjoyed a snack, craft and a book donated by the Platte County Early Literacy Project. Thank you to all who came!
